Director of Examinations.
I have worked at Outwood Grange Academy since January 1991 becoming Examinations Officer in September 2003 and Directore of Qualifications and Administration in September 2008.
My role in the Academy is to gather all information regarding examination entries from the subject departments; this information is then passed on to the examination boards via the management information systems used within the academy. Timetables are produced from these entries and issued as provisional to students for checking. Once the checking exercise is complete and all amendments are made the arrangements can be made for the actual examination sittings taking into account any arrangements that may need to be made for students that require special arrangements.
Last year Outwood Grange Academy submitted over fifteen and a half thousand examination entries of which nine and half thousand were seated examinations, ensuring that the logistics of this exercise although complex must be precise.
