Outwood Grange Academies Trust invite your comments on the proposed admission arrangements for the above schools for 2022/23 academic year.

Published Admission Number Consultation
Outwood Grange Academies Trust as the admissions authority for the schools is consulting the published admission number for the school. The following admission numbers are proposed:
Secondary Academies
Outwood Grange Academy 360
Outwood Academy Hemsworth 240 (proposed reduction from current 270)
Outwood Academy Freeston 210
Outwood Academy City Fields 210
Primary Academies
Outwood Primary Academy Ledger Lane 60
Outwood Primary Academy Lofthouse Gate 60
Outwood Primary Academy Kirkhamgate 30
Outwood Primary Academy Bell Lane 45
Outwood Primary Academy Park Hill 60
Outwood Primary Academy Newstead Green 30
Proposed Admission Arrangement
The admission authority would also like to consult on a change to the over subscription
criteria for all of the above schools. The proposal is to add an additional criteria of:
The children of staff in the following circumstances:
● where the member of staff has been employed for 2 or more years at the time
at which the application for admission to the school is made; and/or
● the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a
demonstrable skill shortage.
The proposed admissions policy reflecting the above change can be viewed below.
Sixth Form Admissions Policy
We are also consulting on the admissions policy for our Post 16 at Outwood Grange
Academy and Outwood Academy Hemsworth. It is not proposed to change the admission number, entry requirements of over subscription criteria from previous years.
